A small local team that answers the phone and shows up when we say we will. We work across Nutana, Stonebridge, Willowgrove, Evergreen and the rest of the city — five technicians, honest quotes, no runaround.
Call before noon and there is usually a spot open that afternoon.
Go ahead with the fix and the diagnostic is not charged.
Parts and labour come with a written warranty on every visit.
We live here too, so the drive across town is never an excuse.
Opimihaw started in 2023 with one van and a phone that got answered on the second ring. That part has not changed. When you call, you reach someone who knows which technician is closest to you and how their day is running.
There are five of us now, covering the whole city from Riversdale out to Brighton. We repair appliances, but we have absolutely no intention of persuading you to go ahead with repairs that aren’t worth the effort. We’re always honest with our neighbours about whether a repair is worthwhile and what it will cost.
Scroll the list and find what yours is doing. If it is there, we have seen it this month and we know where to start looking.
Book a diagnosticNot getting cold, icing up so badly the drawer sticks, water pooling underneath, or a chest freezer that keeps drifting warm.
Stopping mid-cycle, refusing to drain, walking across the floor on spin, or throwing an error before it starts.
Turning but never heating, taking three rounds to dry one load, squealing from the drum, or shutting off early.
Never reaching the temperature you set, heating unevenly enough to ruin a bake, or a door that locks itself and stays that way.
Dishes coming out gritty, water still sitting in the bottom afterwards, a puddle at the door, or a cycle that runs for hours.
A burner that clicks but will not light, an element that stays cold while the rest work, or controls that have stopped responding.
These are the makes filling Saskatoon kitchens and laundry rooms. Open yours for error codes and jobs we finished recently.
Not on the list? We still take the call. These five just come up most often.
Phone or the form, either works. Give us the make, rough age, and what you are seeing or hearing. We will not guess at a diagnosis down the line, but it tells the technician what to expect.
You get a two-hour window, not a whole day. The technician opens the machine up, finds the actual fault, and gives you the price. Nothing happens until you say yes.
We run a full cycle before packing up, clean the area, and leave the warranty in writing. Go ahead with the repair and the diagnostic is not charged at all.
Five vans spread across Saskatoon, so whoever is nearest takes the job.
See the Saskatoon pageCalled three places on a Tuesday morning and these were the only ones who rang back inside the hour. Sorted before supper.

Honestly I had already started pricing out a replacement. He told me it wasn't worth replacing yet and fixed it for a fraction of what I'd set aside. Not many people would say that.

Tidy, on time, and he explained what he was doing in plain English.

There was a puddle on the floor every single morning and it was driving us up the wall. Took him about an hour and it has been dry since.

Booked it late at night through the site and had a slot by mid morning. Nice not having to chase anybody for once.

What stuck with me is that he didn't talk down to me when I asked questions. Second time using them now and I'd call again.

Most days we can be there the same afternoon if you call in the morning. Book later than that and it is usually next day. Weekends fill up first, so those are worth booking ahead.
No, and we would rather not pretend otherwise. The same symptom can come from several different faults, and the only way to know which one you have is to open the machine up. Every job starts with a diagnostic at your home.
There is a flat fee, and you hear the number before we book anything. If you go ahead with the repair, it is not charged at all. You only pay it if you decide to leave the machine as it is.
Every job leaves with a written warranty covering both the part and the labour. If the same fault comes back inside that window, we return at no charge. The full terms are on our warranty page.
Once the technician has seen it, you get a straight answer. If the repair is going to cost more than about half of a replacement, or the machine is old enough that something else will fail soon after, we say so rather than take the job.
Leave your number and we will call you back with a two-hour window. Go ahead with the repair afterwards and the diagnostic is not charged.

We do not diagnose over the phone. A technician checks the machine on site, then quotes you before any work begins.
