From Er FF fridges to OE drain faults on the washer, we work on LG every week and carry the parts that fail most. Same-day slots most weekdays, and the diagnostic is free when you go ahead with the repair.
Phones answered 7am–11pm, seven days a week.
LG builds most of its laundry and kitchen line on a handful of shared platforms, so the same faults turn up again and again. These are the ones we see across Saskatoon.
Linear-compressor fridges that stop cooling, freezer fans that ice up and chirp, and dispensers that quit.
Front-loaders throwing OE and UE, direct-drive units that will not spin, and doors that will not unlock.
Electric and dual-inverter dryers that tumble without heat, run long, or stop on a flow-sensor fault.
Electric and gas ranges that will not reach temperature, uneven bakes, and doors locked after self-clean.
QuadWash units leaving grit behind, water pooling in the base, and cycles that stall on an inlet error.
Induction and radiant tops with an element out, and controls that stop responding to touch.
A code tells you which part LG thinks has failed. Some clear with a reset; the ones below usually mean a component needs replacing. Tell us the code when you book and we will bring the likely part.
Water is not leaving within the allowed time. Usually a clogged pump filter or drain hose; if those are clear, the drain pump itself.
The drum cannot balance to spin. Often a bunched load, but a recurring UE points to worn suspension or a bad sensor.
The machine is not filling in time. Check the taps and inlet screens; a stuck inlet valve is the common repair.
The washer cannot confirm the door is latched. Check for debris in the seal; if it closes clean, the door lock has failed.
The evaporator fan is jammed or its motor failed, usually from ice buildup. Food is at risk within hours; needs prompt service.
The defrost cycle did not complete, so frost builds on the coils and cooling drops off. Usually the heater or a thermal fuse.
Codes vary by model and year, and the same code can have more than one cause. Treat this as a starting point, not a diagnosis — the only way to be sure is to open the machine up.
A few real LG jobs from around Saskatoon — what came in, what we did, and what it came to.
Stonebridge. The freezer fan had iced solid and stalled, so the fresh-food side was climbing. We cleared the ice, replaced the failed evaporator fan motor, and confirmed the defrost cycle was completing before leaving.
Lawson Heights. Filter was partly clear but the drain pump was straining and cutting out. We swapped the drain pump, cleared the housing, and ran a full cycle to confirm it emptied on time.
Brighton. Loads were coming out damp after a full cycle. The heating element had gone open-circuit. We fitted a new element, checked the thermistor and vent run, and tested a heated cycle end to end.
Each price shown is for that specific repair on that specific machine, including parts and labour. It is not a quote for your appliance — your cost depends on the model and the fault, and you get a firm price after the on-site diagnostic, before any work begins.
Wherever you are in the city, the technician who comes out is the one already closest, with the common LG parts in the van.
Just outside the city limits? Call and ask. We take jobs beyond the boundary when the schedule allows.
