From F21 drain faults to a lid that will not lock, we work on Maytag every week and carry the parts that fail most. Same-day slots most weekdays, and the diagnostic is free when you go ahead with the repair.
Phones answered 7am–11pm, seven days a week.
Maytag shares its platform with Whirlpool, so the same handful of faults come up again and again. These are the ones we see across Saskatoon.
Bottom-freezer and side-by-side fridges that stop cooling, ice up at the back, or leave water under the crisper.
Top-load Bravos and Centennial units that will not spin, front-loaders on F21, and lids that will not lock.
Electric and gas dryers that tumble without heat, take several cycles to dry, or stop early.
Electric and gas ranges that will not hold temperature, uneven bakes, and doors locked after self-clean.
Units leaving dishes gritty, water sitting in the base, or a cycle that stalls partway through.
Electric and gas cooktops with a burner out, and controls that stop responding.
A code points to the part Maytag thinks has failed. Some clear with a reset; the ones below usually mean a component needs replacing. Tell us the code when you book and we will bring the likely part.
The most common Maytag call. Water did not drop in time — usually the pump filter or a blocked hose, and failing that, the drain pump.
The washer cannot confirm the lock engaged. Clear anything in the latch area; if it still fails, the lid or door lock has gone.
The drum could not balance for the spin. Often a bunched load; a recurring code points to worn suspension or a bad sensor.
Suds are stopping the spin. Usually non-HE detergent or too much of it; if it keeps returning, the drain may be the cause.
Water is coming in too slowly. Check the taps and inlet screens; a failing inlet valve is the usual fix.
Not a fault on its own — the cycle was interrupted. If it appears on its own mid-wash, the control or wiring may need a look.
Codes vary by model and year, and the same code can have more than one cause. Treat this as a starting point, not a diagnosis — the only way to be sure is to open the machine up.
A few real Maytag jobs from around Saskatoon — what came in, what we did, and what it came to.

Evergreen. Standing water in the base and dishes coming out dirty. The chopper area was clogged and the drain pump had failed. We cleared the blockage, fitted a new drain pump, and ran a full cycle to confirm it emptied properly.

Lakeview. The oven was browning unevenly and never felt as hot as the dial said. The bake element was intact but the temperature sensor had drifted out of range. We replaced the oven sensor and confirmed it held the set temperature across a full preheat.

Silverspring. One surface element on the stove stayed cold while the others worked. The element had failed and the receptacle it plugs into was scorched. We replaced both the element and the burner receptacle, then tested it up to full heat.
Each price shown is for that specific repair on that specific machine, including parts and labour. It is not a quote for your appliance — your cost depends on the model and the fault, and you get a firm price after the on-site diagnostic, before any work begins.
Wherever you are in the city, the technician who comes out is the one already closest, with the common Maytag parts in the van.
Just outside the city limits? Call and ask. We take jobs beyond the boundary when the schedule allows.
